hmm. Camp pics. From day1 games.
It was raining 1 hour before games started, I gathered some game masters to pray and the raindrops went heavier. Nevertheless that isn't gonna affect the spirit and I believe that the rain will stop despite the thickness of the dark clouds. Sure enough, it did..and "Let the games begin". From stocking games to flour, jacob's ladder where players stepped on each other calf muscle and face the flour to games like mission impossible, where I hitted my head while trying out the game and knees were sore and buised. Yea it was fun.
Well.. then came minilution, where high school reunion plus nerds outlook are the norm. Afterwards there was Shepherd's appreciation. Well.. I'm really grateful for my sheeps joshua, he bought me a topman shirt..the design however had a Cat.(he is teachin me how to love my enemy) Then I got a gift from mervin, POST breakfast..(it is my fav) to boon how& eugene. Tears started to gather as they showed a clip on Pastor shirley pioneerin years. Being a pioneer, can kinda relate to the rejection we receive at times. But yea! after the labor, lives were changed.*priceless*. I enjoyed the Ben's and Jerry ice cream given by the church for the shepherds.(I was intendin to buy that for freedy la).
When torchie(dun know if i got it right) step down from stage after prayin. And when he was heading towards North-east area, I was like.. hmm. I wonder who will be he prophesyin next then he tap me and asked for my name.. with the mike near my mouth. I was stunned. Torch, accurately pin my strength, loyalty. Which reminds me of what pastor shirley said during NE camp, about faithfulness. God had me at "hello!" I was shocked, somehow it was an encouragement as well, as I tend to have doubts. Well. Last day and sure enough played and didn't sleep the whole night, playin captain ball and badminton. Nicholas was jus learning, he was really sweet when he wrote an encouragement card and hid it in my bag. The captain ball match with SJI dudes was like me,walmond,sunny,freedy,joseph,xueyong. Sunny and Wal, made quite a team.. it was quite a competitive game. Then came 530am when I had to rush to pack and leave for another camp.. over at Changi. By God's grace, I manage to catch the first bus back to sengkang then changi. At the base, while the commanders was giving speech, my head was noddin and mastering the art of sleepin with eyes opened. Anw I'm at chi keong hse now, one of my close buddy who offered his leave for me that i could make it for this camp :D God is great!
